We’re excited to be embarking on a major upgrade at Les Mills Auckland City. We’re talking brighter, better spaces, fixing those long-standing pain points (yep, we feel them too), and setting the club up for the future. It’s a big investment to improve your gym experience – and it’s going to be awesome.

Refer to this page and the FAQs below to stay up to date.

changing room

We’re completely refreshing the men’s and women’s changing room: new tiles, modern shower cubicles, fresh lighting, and improved ventilation. The upgrades to each changing room will be completed in stages, as we want to keep as many areas open for use as possible. We have commenced the first phase on the men's changing room already and will follow with the women's changing room, aiming to start in January 2026.

WOMEN'S GYM

The Women’s Gym is back open, with new paint and new flooring.  As part of the renovation, we have some new exciting equipment including a Hammer Strength Plate Loaded Glute Drive and a new pin-loaded Abductor/Adductor machine.

recovery

Recovery is a huge part of your wellbeing, and we’re excited to be bringing new options to the club. Over the next 12 months we’ll be installing two new saunas - starting with a brand-new expanded men’s sauna, followed by a full refurbishment of the women’s sauna.

studio carpet refresh

We are refreshing the carpet over the next few weeks in our studios. We will start with Studio One first which will be closed for two weeks from October 20, and then we will move on to Studio Two which will then close for two weeks also. During the works, all live classes will move into one studio, with an adjusted timetable.

FAQS

What is happening at Auckland City over the next 12 months?

We know upgrades can sometimes feel like a long process, so thank you for your patience, it really means a lot.

Once the wet areas are complete, we’ll move on to locker bays and sauna upgrades.

Alongside this, we’re also:
