FAQ

When are the works happening and how long will they take?

The project will begin on the evening of Monday, 15th September and is expected to run for 2 weeks.

What’s happening in Studio 1?

We’re excited to be installing brand-new carpet and underlay in Studio 1. We hope you love the fresh look and feel—it’s all about enhancing your experience in the space.

Will Studio 1 be closed during the works?

Not entirely. We’re working around the Group Fit timetable as best as we can, with most of the installation happening overnight. The project will be completed in three stages, so at times, parts of the studio will be temporarily closed, resulting in reduced capacity. Please keep an eye on the timetable, as some late evening and virtual classes may be affected.

Can I still attend my favourite classes?

Yes! Most classes will continue as scheduled. However, we recommend checking the timetable regularly, especially for virtual and evening sessions, which may be adjusted to allow contractors enough time to work safely.

Will there be any disruption in the wider club?

We’re keeping disruption to a minimum. That said, during the carpet replacement at the rear of Studio 1, one side of the lobby access to the studio will be temporarily closed. You’ll need to use the timber walkways to reach the change rooms, cycle studio, and Studio 1—just a few extra steps!

Can I train at other Les Mills clubs during the works?

Absolutely. All members will be temporarily upgraded to a multi-club membership, so you can enjoy any of our clubs and try different classes and instructors. Don’t forget to come back and check out the refreshed Studio 1 once the project’s complete!

Will it be safe to work out during the works?

Yes, your safety is our top priority. We’ll have Health & Safety measures in place throughout the works to ensure you can continue training safely.

Will there be any strong smells during the works?

You might notice a strong smell from the glue used during installation. Please rest assured—it is non-toxic and completely safe.
