Your gym floor is getting a refresh!

We’re making some exciting changes at Les Mills Hutt City, with a refreshed gym floor, improved layout and new cardio space coming your way.


There’ll be some temporary changes while we get the work done.

What’s happening at the club? 

We’re upgrading the gym floor and cardio theatre to improve the spaces and overall training experience at Les Mills Hutt City.

When do the works start?

Works are scheduled to begin on Monday 7 September and will be completed in stages to help minimise disruption to members.

How long will the works take?

The upgrade will be completed in several stages, with different areas of the gym floor temporarily impacted as works progress. We anticipate the works being completed in early November.

Will the gym remain open during the works?

Yes. Les Mills Hutt City will remain open throughout the works. There will, however, be temporary closures and equipment relocations across different areas of the gym floor. 

We’ll keep  you updated as the project progresses. 

Will the cardio area be open?

The cardio cinema will temporarily close during the first stage of works while work is completed in this area. This space will reopen as a new dedicated cardio area once this stage is complete. The current cardio area on the main gym floor will remain accessible for members until this gear will be moved into the new space when it reopens.

Will Group Fitness classes be affected?

At one stage of the project, an alternative access route to Studio One will be in place. Directional signage will be provided in club to help members navigate the temporary route.

Will Studio 2 still be available?

Studio 2 will be used to accommodate relocated equipment at different stages of the project, including Cycle bikes, dumbbells and benches.

Will the Cycle Studio be open?

The Cycle Studio will temporarily close during part of the works. Cycle bikes will be relocated to Studio 2 and a limited cycle timetable will run during this period.   

The Cycle Studio will reopen once works in this area are complete. 

Will there be noise or dust during the works?

Some construction noise and disruption can be expected while the upgrade is underway. We’ll work to minimise the impact on members wherever possible.

We’ll keep this page updated with the latest information, including temporary closures, equipment relocations and changes to access.
