When I moved to New Zealand in 2019, I joined the gym as a way to improve my performance with horses, looking to work out those little irregularities I had. What started as something I didn’t take too seriously soon turned into the highlight of my week and seeing the improvement in my whole life outside the gym was an added bonus.
I wanted to learn more about the exercises I was doing and branch out so I hired a PT who, over time, got me into strength training and then powerlifting. I realised how empowering it is to lift heavy weights, I was more confident inside and outside the gym and wanted to ‘pass the torch’ by teaching people how to feel good not just about their bodies but about themselves as a whole. I bring a holistic approach incorporating the benefits of strength training with slowing down and taking time for yourself, to improve lifestyles with lasting habits.
