Typical background in sports from a young age playing and coaching all types of sports, soccer, netball, touch, basketball, softball to name a few, I was very competitive unfortunately I ended up having a Major lower back spinal fusion when my oldest son was only 1 whilst also being a single mother.
Going through something like that you realise how much strength you need physically and mentally. Strength training became part of my life and I truly believe strength training is for everyone, however how we approach strength training changes for every individual.
For example, everyone should squat but not everyone should squat the same. Our anatomy and lifestyle is very different. Understanding how to move your body that best suits you is a new found strength.
