AJ is a movement and rehabilitation specialist with over a decade of experience in postural alignment, strength-based conditioning, and injury rehabilitation.
Her coaching style is compassionate, direct, and grounded in partnership. She works best with clients who are committed to investing in their health and value a clear, professional approach.
A growing focus area for AJ is women’s health, particularly supporting women through perimenopause and postmenopause.
Having experienced early menopause herself, AJ combines lived experience with science-backed training protocols to help women build strength, confidence, resilience, and long-term wellbeing during this stage of life.
AJ integrates posture assessment, functional movement training, strength development, and nervous system regulation strategies into her work. She is also a Level 1 Certified Ren Xue Teacher, incorporating practical Qigong-based approaches that support calm, recovery, body awareness, and overall wellbeing.
Other areas AJ works across include chronic pain and injury rehabilitation, arthritis, scoliosis, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and neurological conditions.
After two decades in the corporate world, AJ completed a Bachelor of Health Science majoring in Sport and Exercise Science. Now in her mid-50s, she continues to role model the balance, vitality, and strength she helps others build.
Outside the gym, AJ enjoys mountain biking, gardening, Qigong, skiing and the outdoors. She values time with her partner, whānau, and friends.
AJ is available Monday to Friday between 6:00am and 2:00pm. Bookings essential.
