What are Les Mills challenges within the app?

Challenges are a fun way to stay motivated and track your progress. Join from the app Home screen.

Each challenge has its own dates, activities, and points structure. Complete activities to earn points, invite friends to join, and track your progress on the leaderboard.

How can I earn points in a challenge?

Point-scoring activities vary by challenge and may include:

  • Scanning into the club for a workout
  • Booking and attending selected classes
  • Completing a gym floor workout
  • Achieving your workout goal
  • Completing a Les Mills at Home workout
  • Checking your challenge progress
How do the leaderboards work?

When you join a challenge, the leaderboard will display your first name, last initial, home club, and points total. By joining, you agree to this information being visible to other challenge participants.

You'll see the top 10 participants, plus your own position. You can also filter the leaderboard to view participants from your club.

Leaderboards are designed to celebrate effort and consistency, no matter where you place.

I went to the gym. Why didn't I earn any points?

There are several reasons you may not have earned challenge points, including:

  • You've already earned points for that activity that day
  • Your membership is on pause or in arrears
  • You're visiting a club not included in your membership
  • You scanned into the club before joining the challenge

If you have checked these reasons and still are not sure why your points were not awarded, contact [email protected] and we can look into it for you.

How do I earn points for attending a class?

To earn class points, book or schedule a class in the timetable on the Les Mills app, then sign in at reception during the two-hour window (one hour before and one hour after) the class start time.

How do I earn points for a gym floor workout?

Scan the QR code displayed on the gym floor within two hours of signing in at reception. Your points will be added instantly.

How many times per day can I earn points for each activity?

Most activities are reset daily, while workout goals can be completed once per week.

To keep things fair, you'll only earn points from your highest-scoring in-club workout each day. For example, you'll receive points for either a group fitness class or a gym floor workout, not both.

Can I earn points for workout out in a class and on the gym floor on the same day?

No, to keep things fair, you'll earn points from your highest-scoring in-club workout each day. You'll receive points for either a group fitness class or a gym floor workout, not both.

How do I compete with my friends?

Select 'Compete with Friends' to create a private team leaderboard.

Invite your friends using a link or code, then cheer each other on and see how you compare throughout the challenge.

What are badges?

Each challenge includes exclusive badge milestones based on points earned. As you reach each points threshold, you'll unlock a new badge.

Once you've reached the challenge goal, you don't have to stop there. Keep earning points until the challenge ends.

Your badges will appear in the Progress section after the challenge has finished.

Are there prizes?

Each challenge is different. Some may include spot prizes during the challenge, while others may offer prize draws for members who sign up early or complete the challenge.
