About Nathan

My journey into fitness began when I was searching for confidence, connection, and purpose after moving to Wellington, NZ without knowing anyone. Group fitness classes quickly became my safe space, giving me a sense of community and belonging—and what started as attending classes soon turned into teaching them.

Through teaching, I discovered the powerful impact movement and encouragement can have, not just physically but mentally. With over 10 years of experience in dance, personal training became a natural extension of my creativity, allowing me to help others feel strong, capable, and confident in their bodies.

My coaching style is best described as; personality plus, fun, supportive, and motivating with a good balance of laughs and hard work. Having once been terrified of the gym floor myself, I’m especially passionate about helping people overcome gym anxiety and build confidence through weight training and group classes.

I genuinely care about the people I train and aim to create an environment where everyone feels safe, supported, and proud of what they’re capable of (or at least laughing while they try!).
