About Robbie

My name is Robbie. I've been a personal trainer for the past 11 years working out of Les Mills Howick in Auckland, New Zealand. I've also been working as an online trainer for the past 4 years.

Originally, I trained myself and my clients like bodybuilders. That's all I knew, and quite honestly, that seems to be how most of the general population train themselves these days...⠀ ⠀

During these early years, I dealt with scoliosis, pain, injuries, and fatigue, which would keep me from progressing in the gym and impacted my life outside of exercise. I would try to address all of this for myself and my clients by religiously foam rolling, stretching, and doing mobility drills. Only to eventually end up back at square one.⠀ ⠀

Now, following a lot of education, upskilling, training, and learning, I have a far greater understanding that we are more than just a bunch of muscles. We are, in fact, a combination of multiple systems that all interact and work together to help keep us moving and deal with our own personal environments. I help people move away from pain that impacts them in and out of the gym, no matter their lifestyle or exercise goals. I also educate other trainers so that no matter what their niche is, they can learn how to get their clients moving better.⠀
