Like many women, I spent a lot of my girlhood trying to shrink myself - chasing the beauty standards we’re taught to strive for and aiming to be smaller. It wasn’t until I discovered strength training that things began to shift. Choosing strong over skinny wasn’t easy, but it’s one of the most important and empowering changes I’ve ever made.
Lifting weights taught me more than just how to move my body - it helped me reconnect with it. It gave me mental clarity, a sense of purpose, and a newfound respect for what my body could do, not just how it looked. That mindset shift changed my life, and it’s a journey I want to help others through too.
Last year, I competed in my first bodybuilding show, which challenged me both physically and mentally. It deepened my understanding of training, nutrition, and resilience, and I’m currently in my off-season preparing for the next. Through my fitness experience, I discovered just how much movement can empower you beyond the gym, and that led me to pursue a Personal Training Qualification.
My coaching style is grounded in education, empathy, and technique. I believe in building strength from the ground up - focusing on fundamentals, correct form, and creating training that’s both effective and enjoyable. I want to help you cut through the noise, move with confidence, and feel proud of your progress, no matter what stage you're at.
More than anything, I want to be the kind of coach younger me needed - someone who reminds you that you are strong, capable, and so much more than how you look.
If you’re ready to take that first step, I’d love to hear from you. Come say hi!
