One of the main reasons single people join a fitness centre is to find someone that ticks their boxes and makes their wheels spin. Let's face it, life's hectic and it's become harder to meet people. So to make it easier for you to connect with other single, outgoing, professional, Les Mills people - we’re trialling Speed Dating in Studio 1! If it proves to be popular, we’ll run them regularly. This is the perfect way to meet 12 new people in one night... fun, non-threatening and easy!
Les Mills Speed Dating is open to everyone - guys that like girls, girls that like guys, guys that like guys and girls that like girls.

Here’s what to expect on the night:
*After you arrive (please be on time), each person is given 3 x drink vouchers to redeem at the bar (wine or beer)
* The host introduces the evening with a quick ice-breaker then the informal 4 minute 'dates’ begin!
* After 4 minutes, the host gives you another 30 seconds to wrap up your chat before you move on to the next table
* After each date, take a quick moment to fill in your ‘Rate your Date’ form where you write your dates name and whether you’d like to meet them again - this is of course confidential!
* After your first 6 dates, there’s a short break to grab another drink at the bar
* At the end of the night you hand your ‘Rate your Date’ form back to the host, feel free to grab another drink at the bar
* The following Monday morning you’re emailed the contact details of mutual matches! Easy.

A great cook but looking for new recipe ideas? Never cooked before? Looking to impress someone with your culinary skills? Then this is for you! Don't be shy, we'll keep things fun, interactive & entertaining! Each evening we'll be shown how to cook some great tasting food, then eat it!
Show up at 6.30pm and enjoy a glass of wine on arrival. At 6.45pm we'll be shown into the theatre style classroom where the chef will demonstrate cooking three healthy dishes - volunteers will be requested to help! At around 8pm we'll move into the dining room where we'll each sample a small portion of each of the three dishes. Please note, you will not cook your own meal, this is a demonstration and taste session only.

Nestled within the Auckland Fish Markets is a remarkable new venue equipped with a trendy bar, an 'aroma room' and a big screen cinema, all of which you'll experience at this event.
As you arrive, you'll be welcomed into the Aroma room where you'll discover the aromatic components of many wines - then test yourself by smelling 'blind'.
Then you'll be welcomed into the cinema room, where you'll take a seat at your own 'wine tasting station' - set before you will be six samples of wines and a massive movie screen. As the experience begins, you'll view the stunning scenery of both coasts from the North Island and be introduced to the unique personalities of the six wine makers as they talk you through tasting each of their wines. We'll 'visit’ these six vineyards on this cinematic journey: Artisan Wines, Kumeu River, Ransom Wines, Passage Rock, Omaha Bay Vineyard and Twilight Vineyards.
This is traditional wine tasting with a fun twist, a truly exciting, interactive and social evening not to be missed.
